HEPTech Workshop in Bulgaria

A Workshop on the topic "Licensing and Negotiations" took place in the period 20 – 24 May 2012 in the town of Koprivshtiza, Bulgaria.
The workshop was part of the HEPTech supporting activity "Early stage TTOs meet advanced TTOs". It was organized and hosted by Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" - member of the HEPTech Network - with the support of HEPTech and WIPO. The number of participants was 23 from 10 European countries representing TTOs, Universities and Research institutions.
According to the participants' feedback the workshop was successful and very useful not only for the early stage TTOs but also for young TT officers from advanced TTOs.
It was suggested to organize a follow-up workshop on the topic "Public private partnership in research and technology transfer".
The contribution of the WIPO expert Ms. Olga Savic was highly appreciated, as well as the contribution of the other speakers Jean-Marie Le Goff, Ian Tracey, and Luis Bordais.
Sofia University would like to thank the HEPTech Network and WIPO for their contribution and to declare its willingness to host further HEPTech events.

S3T 2011: Third International Conference on Software, Services and Semantic Technologies

2nd CALL FOR PAPERS

S3T 2011 is the third conference in a series aimed at providing a forum for connecting researchers and international research communities for worldwide dissemination and sharing of ideas and results in the areas of Information and Communication Technologies, and more specifically in Software, Services and Intelligent Content and Semantics. Four coherently interrelated tracks will be arranged in the three-day conference including Software and services, Intelligent content and semantics, Knowledge management and Business intelligence, and Technology enhanced learning. The conference is sponsored by the F7 EU SISTER Project and hosted by Sofia University.
